MBM Students from CBS Visit Cambridge and Oxford; Attend Lecture by Former British Cabinet Secretary
Students in the MBM Program, Chulalongkorn Business School (CBS), paid a visit to Oxford and Cambridge Universities during July 11 – 24, 2023, and had the privilege of meeting with UK’s former Cabinet Secretary.
Students and faculty members of the Master in Branding and Marketing (MBM) Program, Chulalongkorn Business School, led by Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Dean of CBS, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun, Head of the Marketing Department and Director of the MBM Program, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Apichart Kanarattanavong, Deputy Director of the MBM Program, and attended a lecture by Lord Wilson of Dinton, former British Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Home Civil Service, on the topic of Global Branding at Clare College, University of Cambridge. The students were attending the “Global Seminar in Branding” at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and had the opportunity to visit Sa?d Business School at the University of Oxford as well.
Lord Wilson of Dinton shared his insight emphasizing that building a sustainable brand takes time as it incorporates excellence, righteousness, fairness and accumulated trust. The opportunity was indeed unparalleled with students getting to learn from the perspectives of a world-class accomplished individual.?
