- Mr. Waris Darachai, Faculty of Arts, received the Excellence Award in Literature for his novel “Please Desire Death.”
- Mr. Nattaphon Prakritikornchai, Faculty of Arts, received the Excellence Award in Literature for his short story collection “The Existence of the Rotten Dog Bridge.”
- Mr. Teerawat Yingthavorn, Faculty of Education, received the Excellence Award in Literature for his short story collection “Bang Phra Hai.”
- Ms. Kannika Suksai, Faculty of Education, received the Excellence Award in 2D Art for her piece “The Origin of Abundance.”
- Ms. Boonlee Tantinrawat, Faculty of Communication Arts, received the Excellence Award in Photography for her piece “Traces.”
The “Young Thai Artist Award 2024” provides a platform for young Thai artists to showcase their potential and creativity, helping to establish emerging artists in the Thai and international art scenes. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this year’s event is themed “Beloved Universe: Art for Love of the Earth,” and includes six categories: 2D Art, 3D Art, Photography, Film, Literature, and Music Composition.
