Professor Dr. Pramoch Rangsunvigit, Dean of the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed participants. He emphasized the importance of advancing vinyl as a sustainable material, aligning with the principles of the Circular Economy and minimizing environmental impact.
The seminar featured visionary discussions on sustainability in the vinyl industry, with notable speakers including Dr. Methee Wongsirisuwan, Director of , and Mr. Apichai Chareonsuk, Vice Chairman of the ASEAN Vinyl Council and Managing Director of Thai Plastic and Chemicals Public Company Limited. Additionally, the event included the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the project “Post-Use PVC Medical Equipment Management: From Non-Infectious Waste to Recycled Materials.” The agreement, involving Lopburi Cancer Hospital, the ASEAN Vinyl Council, and , focuses on recycling used medical materials to reduce the consumption of new resources and create sustainable added value.?
