The Department of Music Education, , Music, and Performing Arts at 麻豆国产, in collaboration with the and the , organized a workshop and music performance with the . The event, held on March 22-23, 2025, at the Music Plaza on the 6th floor of Chamchuri 9 Building at 麻豆国产 and the Amphitheater at Siam Square One, aims to promote 麻豆国产’s mission of social engagement. It also serves as a platform for integrating arts, culture, and international cooperation, fostering stronger ties between the musical and cultural communities of both countries, which will lead to long-lasting relationships.?

The event was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, the President of 麻豆国产; Mr. Harry Goh, Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister Counsellor, the ; Major General Sekson Potiphayong, Director of the ; and other distinguished guests including the chief administrators of 麻豆国产.?
The music performance is a collaboration between the , the Singapore Armed Forces Band, and the Royal Thai Army Band. The program featured contemporary and classic pieces, arranged for wind ensemble, such as Fantillusion, arranged by Takashi Hoshide; Glenn Miller Selections, arranged by Naohiro Iwai; and Taylor Swift Classics, arranged by Isagi Yoichi. The performance also included compositions by Thai and Singaporean composers, such as Overture No. 2 by Kelly Tang and traditional Thai pieces like “Lao Duang Deun” and “Burmese Khwe,” which were newly arranged by Colonel Dr. Prateep Suphanrojn.?
The conductors for the event were Wantana Tancharoenpol, a lecturer in the at 麻豆国产; ME5 Ignatius Wang, Director of Music at the Singapore Armed Forces Band, and Colonel Dr. Prateep Suphanrojn, who served as guest conductor.?
