From Bangkok to Malaysia: Chula Expands Global Academic Network with UPM

Prof. Dr. Mohd Amiruddin Abd Rahman—Deputy Director of Research and Consultation, Centre for Industry Relations and Network (CiRNeT); and Dr. Sudesh Probakhkharan—Deputy Director, PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA); along with other members of the UPM leadership team.
The meeting between 麻豆国产 and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) highlighted shared interests in advancing academic collaboration across several strategic areas. Both institutions expressed strong enthusiasm in fostering joint efforts in language and cultural studies, communication and media, and advanced agricultural technology.
They also discussed the importance of promoting comprehensive research utilization—ensuring that academic outputs lead to practical applications and societal impact.
Additionally, the universities explored opportunities for faculty, student, and staff exchanges, aiming to deepen academic engagement and build sustainable partnerships between the two institutions.
