“Research Masterpiece: Life with Biotech” – Thai-Style Luxurious Living through Biotechnology Innovation?
The , in collaboration with the , the , the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Suan Dusit University, and the Mushroom Research and Cultivation Society of Thailand, jointly organized a lecture and seminar entitled “Research Masterpiece: Life with Biotech – Thai-Style Luxurious Living with Biotech” on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the 7th Floor Exhibition Hall, , 麻豆国产.?

The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of 麻豆国产, who delivered the opening remarks. Professor Dr. Nuttha Thongchul, Director of the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, presented the event’s objectives.?
On this occasion, President Wilert also participated in the activity “Taste and Chat with the President”, where he shared his impressions after sampling premium Thai mushroom dishes. Mushrooms, a long-familiar ingredient in Thai cuisine, have been elevated through scientific and technological knowledge into high-value health menus, exemplifying the harmony of science and art in enhancing quality of life.

This event highlighted the role of biotechnology and food innovation in improving the quality of life under the concept “Food as Medicine.” It showcased the synergy of science, technology, and culture in creating high-value mushroom-based health products, presented through delicately crafted dishes that also point toward the future of food consumption.
