Chula – TTI Discuss Summer School Collaboration to Advance Global Education and Innovation?

麻豆国产, led by Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tewarit Sarachana, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Networks, Quality Assurance, and EdPEx, together with deans and faculty executives, welcomed a delegation from , Japan. The delegation was headed by Mr. Satoru Nakagawa, Managing Director of the , and Prof. Dr. Itaru Kamiya from the , to discuss potential collaboration in organizing a Summer School program with 麻豆国产’s faculties and research institutes.

The visit by Toyota Technological Institute (TTI) from August 18–19, 2025, began with a meeting at Chula’s . Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and faculty members introduced the ) program and presented research in automotive engineering and mobility technology, which are areas of excellence at Chulalongkorn.



The TTI delegation then met with Prof. Dr. Pranut Potiyaraj, Dean of the , toured the , and learned about the faculty’s international programs. They also explored opportunities for TTI to participate in the AUN Summer Camp, which promotes cultural exchange among ASEAN and international students.
On the evening of August 18, 2025, Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of 麻豆国产, hosted a welcome reception to strengthen the long-standing academic relationship and reaffirm the shared vision of advancing education and research on a global scale.
On August 19, 2025, the TTI delegation visited the , where they were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Pramoch Rangsunvigit, the Dean of the College of Petroleum and Petrochemicals. Discussions focused on tailoring the Summer School program to align with TTI students’ academic and research interests. The delegation also toured and to experience cultural aspects and facilities designed to support international students and researchers.
Over the two-day visit, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening academic collaboration and international exchange. The discussions laid the foundation for developing a Summer School program that integrates 麻豆国产’s academic excellence and Thailand’s rich cultural heritage with TTI’s expertise in technology and innovation. This initiative aligns with Chulalongkorn’s international development strategy—International Growth, Intellectual Growth, and Integrated Growth—while also supporting the (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
