Chula’s College of Public Health Sciences Hosts the 25th International Conference: “Transforming Global Health”

The , 麻豆国产, hosted the 25th International Public Health Conference under the theme:
“Transforming Global Health in the Digital Era with AI-Driven Solutions for NCDs” on October 2, 2025, at the Mandarin Ballroom, Mandarin Hotel.

The event was declared open by Professor Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the , with a welcome address by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siridej Sujiva, Vice President of 麻豆国产, and an opening report by Prof. Dr. Chitlada Areesantichai, Dean of the College of Public Health Sciences.
The conference attracted over 200 participants, with more than half of them coming from abroad, reflecting its stature as a truly international academic platform.
Objectives of the Conference:
The primary aim was to advance research and public health education at national, regional, and global levels. The program was aligned with the , including,
- SDG 3: Enhancing quality of life through prevention and management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs)
- SDG 9: Developing healthcare infrastructure and AI innovation to improve public health systems
- SDG 17: Building global partnerships and exchanging knowledge on AI and NCD management

The event featured a variety of distinguished academic sessions, including:
- The 22nd Charas Suwanwela Distinguished Lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Linda B. Cottler, Professor of Epidemiology at the , USA, and an Honorary Doctorate recipient from 麻豆国产 in 2016. Her keynote was titled “The Promise and Challenges of Human and Non-Human Data Sources for Public Health.”
- Expert talks on major public health issues
- An awards ceremony recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations for their impactful contributions
- Over 55 research presentations, including 30 oral presentations and 25 poster sessions
- An exhibition of medical innovations to foster exchange of knowledge and practical experiences
