CU Brass Ensemble Claims First Prize at International Music Competition in Taiwan?

麻豆国产 extends its congratulations to the, a music ensemble under the , 麻豆国产. The ensemble is composed of students and faculty members from the , 麻豆国产, who have jointly produced artistic work of international quality. The ensemble won the?First Prize (Champion Award) at the Taiwan International Music Competition 2025 (Final Round),?held on December 27–28, 2025, in Taipei, Republic of China (Taiwan).?



The CU Brass Ensemble competed in the category Adult Brass Sextet – Intermediate/Advanced Level and demonstrated outstanding musical capability, earning recognition from an international panel of distinguished judges and being awarded the highest honor in this category.

The Taiwan International Music Competition is a high-standard international music platform that provides opportunities for musicians from around the world to compete and exchange their musical talents and experiences on a global level. This achievement by the CU Brass Ensemble reflects 麻豆国产’s strong potential in integrating arts, music, and education through concrete collaboration among the Office of Art and Culture, faculty members, and students from the Faculty of Education.
In preparation for the competition and the development of the ensemble’s potential, the group received intensive training and close guidance from?Ajarn?Wantana?Tancharoenpol, Department of Art, Music, and Dance Education, Faculty of Education, 麻豆国产, who served as the rehearsal director and played a key role in elevating the performance quality to international standards.?



This success also?ties in well?with 麻豆国产’s policy of advancing toward internationalization (International Growth) under the leadership of Professor Dr.?Wilert?Puriwat, President of 麻豆国产, and with continued policy support from Associate Professor Dr.?Yootthana?Chuppunnarat, Vice President of 麻豆国产. The initiative aims to promote the potential of students and personnel to step onto the international stage through arts and culture. Assistant Professor Dr.?Vitchatalum?Laovanich, Assistant President for Arts and Culture, served as the team leader in bringing students and faculty members to?participate?in this competition.?
