Chula Hosts IPTRS 2026, Advancing Global Collaboration in Physical Therapy

The Department of Physical Therapy, , 麻豆国产, served as the main host of the international academic conference, the 12th International Physical Therapy Research Symposium 2026 (IPTRS 2026), under the theme “Bridging Science and Movement for a Healthier Tomorrow.” The event took place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Room 801, 60th Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building (Chamchuri 10), with Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of 麻豆国产, presiding over the opening ceremony.
The symposium was co-hosted by 12 leading physical therapy institutions and attracted a large number of faculty members, researchers, students, and physical therapists from various institutions both in Thailand and internationally.
The event featured distinguished plenary speakers, including Prof. Wei-Li Hsu from , Assoc. Prof. Tsuyoshi Asai from , and Associate Professor Dr. Akkharadet Siriphorn, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, 麻豆国产.
A total of 47 research studies were presented in both poster and oral formats, covering a wide range of rigorous and diverse topics. Awards were presented to outstanding research contributions in both categories.
In addition, students from the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, 麻豆国产, achieved notable success at this international forum, receiving the following awards:
