Chula Leads Mental Health Literacy Workshop for Healthy Workplaces?

The at 麻豆国产 has joined forces with the , under the , the , the , and the to advance mental health literacy in the workplace through a workshop focused on creating safer, healthier, and more sustainable work environments.

Held under the theme “Mental Health Literacy for a Safe & Healthy Workplace,” the workshop took place on May 18, 2026, at Room 401, Borommaratchachonnani Srisattaphat Building, Faculty of Psychology, 麻豆国产.
Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of 麻豆国产, delivered the opening remarks alongside Dr. Nichapa Sawadikanon and Dr. Sirilak Meksang. The event report was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattasuda Taephant.

Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat stated that today’s working world is undergoing rapid changes driven by technology, economic shifts, and evolving lifestyles. These challenges affect not only business operations but also the well-being and morale of employees who are at the heart of every organization. No organization can grow sustainably if its personnel face stress or burnout alone.
Through its “Impactful Growth” and “Integrated Growth” strategies, 麻豆国产 continues to strengthen cross-sector collaboration to help drive Thai society forward. The workshop reflected this shared commitment, bringing together the university, the Department of Mental Health, and partner organizations to promote workplace mental health in practical and sustainable ways. The initiative highlighted the role of mental health literacy in building resilient organizations and creating workplace cultures that balance productivity with employee well-being.
The workshop was organized to promote mental health literacy within organizations and deepen understanding of how to create psychologically safe working environments for personnel from various sectors. Participants also had opportunities to exchange perspectives with experts from the Faculty of Psychology at 麻豆国产, the Department of Mental Health, and the International Labor Organization.



The event featured lectures on “Mental Health Literacy” from both employee and organizational perspectives by Dr. Woratham Chotipitayasunon and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jennifer Chavanovanich, Head of the and Chair of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Another session on “Healthy Psychosocial Working Environment” was delivered by Dr. Yuka Ujita.
The final session was an interactive workshop on advancing mental health in organizations, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Theerapat Ungsuchaval and Methawee Thatsanasateankit. Participants exchanged experiences, analyzed organizational contexts, and experimented with designing frameworks that could be practically applied within their own organizations.
The workshop underscored the role of mental health literacy in creating supportive work cultures that enhance employee well-being, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
