The Small Animal Hospital, , 麻豆国产, organized an academic seminar for pet owners under the theme “Love Through the Bowl: Proper Nutrition for Dogs and Cats” on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Demonstration Room and Hall of the 60th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science, 麻豆国产.
The seminar reflected the important idea that “food” is not merely a daily necessity but the foundation of good health and quality of life for pets. The event aimed to share accurate nutritional knowledge to help owners properly care for dogs and cats from the inside out, strengthen immunity, reduce disease risks, and sustainably improve their pets’ quality of life.

A discussion on concerns surrounding alternative pet foods, including nutritional imbalances and contamination risks, was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Saikaew Sattayatham from the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, 麻豆国产.
- “Antimicrobial-Resistant Pathogens in Raw Meat-Based Pet Foods in Thailand”
A presentation highlighting the risks of antimicrobial-resistant pathogens in raw pet food and the implications pet owners should be aware of, presented by Associate Professor Dr. Pattarat Chanchaithong.
