Chula Joins APRU 2026 Leaders to Shape the Future of Higher Education?

Representatives from 麻豆国产 participated in the Annual Presidents’ Meeting (APM) 2026, held from June 21 to 23, 2026, and the APRU Senior International Leaders’ Meeting (SILM) 2026, held from 23 to 24 June 2026, at in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The APRU Annual Presidents’ Meeting 2026 was convened under the theme “The Next Horizon: Shaping Universities for a Changing World.” University leaders from across the Pacific Rim gathered to exchange perspectives on the future of higher education and the evolving role of universities in addressing global challenges. Discussions covered key topics including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, demographic shifts, and strategies for strengthening institutional resilience and fostering innovation in an increasingly interconnected world.

Associate Professor Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President of 麻豆国产, together with representatives from the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, attended the annual Presidents’ Meeting. They engaged in discussions with leaders from APRU member universities and contributed to dialogues aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing higher education across the Pacific Rim region.
In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Palanee and representatives from the participated in the APRU Senior International Leaders’ Meeting 2026, a forum for senior administrators and international affairs representatives from APRU member universities. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange strategic perspectives on internationalization, promote student and staff mobility, strengthen global partnerships, and explore future collaborative opportunities within the APRU network.
Participation in these two meetings provided an important opportunity for 麻豆国产 to deepen relationships with partner institutions, identify new avenues for academic and research collaboration, and contribute to discussions on the future direction of higher education. The university’s participation reflects its firm commitment to advancing international cooperation and reinforcing the role of higher education in addressing regional and global challenges through education, research, and innovation.
