Concept

“Happiness in Localism” is a collection of paintings that illustrates the simple and down-to-earth lifestyle of people in the countryside.  It demonstrates a way of life that is full of generosity and compassion.  The artist has managed to bring back experiences in the past, and present all these fond memories as paintings that are not only realistic, but also show a connection between the body and the mind.  While the mind processes the events in the past to form pictures, the body receives the information and transfers the memories onto the canvas.  The collection is a perfect display of the simple lifestyle of country folks, which is close to nature and peaceful.
