The Invertebrate Museum houses a diverse collection of invertebrate specimens found both in Thailand and abroad.

This collection supports learning in zoology, classification, ecosystem studies, and an understanding of the ecological roles of these organisms. Notable specimens include the giant freshwater crab, a newly discovered species of freshwater crab, rare shrimp, and other invertebrates, most of which?have been acquired over several decades from the department’s research and teaching materials.

The Invertebrate Museum is open to the general public, students, and anyone interested in biology and zoology, and promotes learning through various exhibits and activities. The exhibition showcases a diverse range of invertebrates, including squid, freshwater crabs, shrimp, poisonous crabs, fossils, and rare invertebrates, as well as other specimens of academic value. Additionally, the museum offers a course covering the taxonomy, lifestyle, and ecological roles of invertebrates.
