The ACYLS is an initiative put forward by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and echoed by all ASEAN leaders at the 21st ASEAN-China Summit in 2018. It enables ASEAN nationals to pursue post-graduate studies and training opportunities in China, thus enhancing ASEAN鈥檚 capacity building and promoting academic and vocation exchanges between China and ASEAN. The Chinese government, through the China Mission to ASEAN in cooperation with the Joint Committee in Jakarta, offers 40 full scholarships for ASEAN University Network member and associate member universities for the ACYLS 2020.

at the Stock Exchange of Thailand on August 23, 2019.聽 Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of 麻豆国产, and the Dean of Chulalongkorn Business School, Assist.Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, presided over the awards ceremony. The Corporate Brand Success (CBS) Valuation integrates marketing, finance, and accounting to measure corporate brands.聽聽 The evaluation points out the highest corporate brand values in all business sectors and is used by companies as a聽 KPI to identify key factors towards a company鈥檚 success and sustainability. Additionally, the top corporate brands receiving the award for five consecutive years will be placed on the Thailand鈥檚 Top Corporate Brands Hall of Fame 2019.聽 The six companies that have been listed on the Hall of Fame are Bangkok Life Assurance, Central Plaza Hotel, Airports of Thailand, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services, Central Pattana, and Delta Electronics (Thailand).聽 Moreover, awards for Top Corporate Brand 2019 were given to fifteen companies from Thailand and six companies from other countries in ASEAN. The CBS Valuation research has been recognized as 鈥渢he Outstanding Research in Economics鈥� by the National Research Council of Thailand in 2014.

On March 21, 2019, the Faculty of Law and ASEAN Studies Center, 麻豆国产, organized an international conference on 鈥淣ational Criminal Law in ASEAN鈥� at the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok and 麻豆国产. Prof. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of 麻豆国产, gave opening remarks and Assistant Professor Dr. Pareena Srivanit, Dean of Faculty of Law, welcomed all attendees to the conference.聽 During the conference, Prof. Valsamis Mitsilegas, Professor of European Criminal Law and Global Security from Queen Mary University of London delivered a keynote speech on 鈥淐omparative Criminal Law as a Significant Instrument for ASEAN Security and Development: A European Perspective鈥�.
